TEAMS of Halfords employees were blindfolded and abandoned at a secret location 15 miles from their Washford HQ on Friday as part of a fund-raising challenge.
The four teams of four took part in Run for Halfords to raise cash for the leukaemia ward at the Diana, Princess of Wales Children's Hospital, Birmingham.
The object was to find their way back to Halfords' Icknield Street Drive base by whatever means possible, which included fire engine, first class Virgin train, lorry and bus - all without any money.
More than £2,000 was raised over the three days.
