Opener Phil Weston blasted an unbeaten 170 as Worcestershire comfortably defeated Hampshire by 102 runs in the Second XI Trophy at Old Hill yesterday.
The-left hander struck two sixes and 22 fours off 145 balls as Worcestershire rattled up a total of 326-5 in their 50 overs after winning the toss and electing to bat first.
Hampshire were bowled out for 224 off 36.5 overs in reply with Duncan Catterall the best Worcestershire bowler, taking 3-33 off six overs.
Worcestershire play their final Trophy match against Glamorgan at Old Hill today.
