RUTHIE Henshall steps into the spotlight to sing hits from some of the best-loved musicals of stage and screen at Malvern Theatres next week.

The Olivier Award-winning West End and Broadway star will be backed by a 19-piece orchestra in The Magnificent Musicals at Forum Theatre on Saturday, July 27, and Sunday, July 28, as part of a major national tour.

The show promises to be a non-stop musical extravaganza featuring showstoppers such as All That Jazz, Maybe This Time, As Long As He Needs Me, All I Ask Of You, I Dreamed A Dream, Memory and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

Musicals featured include Chicago, Cabaret, Oliver! Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Cats, High Society, Kiss Me Kate, The King and I, My Fair Lady and Carousel.

Ruthie has starred in numerous productions, taking the role of Roxy Hart in Chicago, Polly in Crazy For You, Peggy Sue in Peggy Sue Got Married and Nancy in Oliver!

She scooped an Olivier Award for her performance in She Loves Me.
