THE problem of drugs, housing and more activities for young people have been highlighted as some of the key priorities to be tackled in four Redditch neighbourhoods.
Other issues raised by people in Astwood Bank, Woodrow, Winyates and Winyates Green include community safety, parking, litter and shopping.
Residents put forward their views at one of three summer events where they were asked to fill in questionnaires, identify their likes and dislikes by placing flags on a map and writing on a graffiti board.
Redditch Council and partner agency staff collected more than 150 questionnaires, including 34 from young people, at Alexandra Hospital, Tenacres First School and Ridgeway Middle School fetes.
The events were part of the Redditch Partnership's efforts to find out what people want for the town and their own areas by the year 2020 and more are planned.
Information, comments and feedback will be taken to the next round of neighbourhood group meetings in October, when delegates will begin to identify priorities.
These will be used to draw up a Community Strategy which will be reviewed every three years to ensure issues facing communities are addressed.
Events will be at Feckenham Village Hall and Church Hill Middle School on Saturday, Easemore House, Easemore Road, and Walkwood Middle School on Saturday, July 27, and Trinity High School and Oakenshaw Community Centre on Saturday, August 3.
They run from about 1.30-5pm and events are also planned for Headless Cross, Webheath and Callow Hill.
