MIDLANDS Two West newcomers Dixonians have returned to their Harborne base after renegotiating a lease for their Knightlow Road home.
The nomadic club spent a year without a ground after a complicated dispute between the Harborne ground's owners The Oratory and tenants South Birmingham College.
A brief spell at Droitwich was followed by an extended stay at Kings Norton's Ash Lane ground where, amazingly, the off-the-field troubles did not stop the club taking the Midlands Three West North title.
The Birmingham side were hoping to agree a more permanent arrangement at Hopwood this season but were told their old home was available and jumped at the chance.
The club have been offered a deal as tenants in perpetuity at Knightlow Road after South Birmingham College pulled out.
Kings Norton have been handed a tough draw in the opening round of the Powergen Intermediate Cup.
The Ash Lane side visit a Hereford side who ply their trade two divisions higher in the Midlands Two West.
And neighbours Woodrush, newly-relegated to the North Midlands One, are at home to a Ludlow team who play a division higher in Midlands West Four North.
But North Midlands One rivals Redditch have been handed a straightforward opener in the Junior Cup where they visit Division Three outfit Chaddesley Corbett.
And Alcester and Five Ways Old Edwardians have been handed similarly appetising draws with North Mids One side Five Ways at Division Two neighbours Bournville and Warwickshire One outfit Alcester at home to North Midlands Two side Harborne.
The cup ties will be played on Saturday, September 21.
