TOTS at a Spa school enjoyed life on the farm when they went on a school trip.
Twenty-nine youngsters from St Joseph's School, in Ombersley Way, took a trip to Ash End Farm, in Tamworth, last Tuesday, as part of a school project.
The four and five-year-olds got to try their hand at feeding animals, some attempted to milk a cardboard cow and others went on pony rides, which proved very popular.
The day out was part of their farm project, which they have just completed at school.
Deputy headteacher Marion Macbeth said: "The children had a wonderful time. It was nice for them to actually feed and pet the animals which they have been learning about over the last half a term.
"They had a lovely picnic in the barn at the end of the day and some even fell asleep on the coach on the way home."
