HEWELL sit sixth in Division Five after a losing draw in a mid-table fixture at Hanley Castle and Upton.
Chasing a target of 210, the Donkey Hole Lane side finished on 179 for six to bag nine league points.
Seventh placed Stone cut the gap on Hewell to 16 points with a win over Bridewell but Mark Allcock's side can keep them at arms length when the sides meet at Donkey Hole Lane on Saturday (2pm start).

The villagers have to make up a 36 point gap on the top three in their last six matches but have games against all the top five sides and have their fate in their own hands.
The tough run of fixtures starts at fourth placed Teme Valley on Saturday (2pm start) where Williams side will be looking to eat into a 31 point gap between the sides.
