WORLD-class flower arrangers created a fantastic festival of flowers at historic Coughton Court.
More than 70 arrangers from the South Midlands branch of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS) created classic and contemporary displays using the ancestral home of the Throckmorton family as their inspiration.
Blooms from the Tudor home's own gardens featured in the flowering works of art, which took root in key positions throughout the house and in the Roman Catholic church in the grounds.
The talented team members were able to pick more than 30 varieties of flowers, exotic plants and grasses from the Coughton estate, including gladioli, lupin, phlox, iris, roses, delphinium, bears breeches and sea thistles.
There are also ambitious plans to recreate the intricate Throckmorton coat of arms as a seed collage, which will become a permanent display at the entrance of the stately home.
