A TWO-pronged campaign to get children to eat more fruit and veg has kicked off at schools in Redditch.
The other part of the Fruit for Schools project will also encourage the children to get composting by giving them a wormery to get rid of all those extra apple cores and other leftovers.
One of the schools taking part in the county council scheme is Harry Taylor First School, in Evesham Road, Crabbs Cross.
Families can find out how to buy cheap composting equipment by calling 01884 841515 or call Redditch Council on 64252.
