YOUNGSTERS at a Redditch middle school were treated to a rock extravaganza when a guitar concert was staged.
The concert featured St Bede's pupils who have been learning to play the electric guitar for a year or more.
They are taught by one of the Lakeside school's external music teachers who visit the Holloway Lane school weekly, giving pupils the chance to learn instruments such as drums, violin, piano, cello, acoustic and electric guitar.
The concert was staged in two halves, for the upper school, Years 7 and 8, and lower school, Years 5 and 6.
It featured a variety of songs including rock classics, computer-game inspired tracks and compositions created by the pupils themselves.
