BARNT Green CC First XI remain rooted to the bottom of the Worcestershire Sunday League following a 20-run defeat to Swindon.
Batting first, Swindon posted 247-8 before dismissing Green for 227 to leave them propping up the table with just seven points with Old Elizabethans.
The Seconds were on better form as they beat Swindon in the reverse by one wicket.
They climb up to fourth in the Second XI table.
Swindon batted first and were cruising at 80-1 until Zaffar (41) was dismissed.
The hosts then struggled and were eventually restricted 176-7 from 45 overs.
In reply, Green put on 50 for the first wicket before Chandler (15) was bowled. He was soon followed by Kimberly (32).
Ward (24), Carr (40) and Anson (31) all chipped in with scores as the game began to slip from Swindon's grasp.
Edwards scored the winning runs in the final over to hand Barnt Green their narrow victory.
Elsewhere, Bromsgrove picked up six easy points after opponents Chaddesley Corbett conceded their Second XI match.
