The London Stock Exchange was set for another nervy start today, after blue-chip shares had a rollercoaster ride.
The London market finished at a rare high yesterday with the FTSE 100 Index of leading shares closing 27.4 points ahead at 4021.9, the first time since July 5.
In London, a raft of blue-chip shares were moving ahead including P&O Princess which gained 10 per cent.
