FORMER pubs and alehouses in Stourport are the heady subject of an exhibition.
John Cook, a committee member of Stourport Civic Society, is displaying some of the photographs he has unearthed since last autumn at Stourport Library until next Friday.
He plans to write a book on every drinking establishment in the town's history and he is appealing to townsfolk for help.
"My own grandfather was the last licensee of the original Brinton Arms when it was knocked down in 1936, and was the first landlord of the new pub."
