A night of music is sure to go with a bang at Eastnor Castle, near Ledbury later this month.
Performing Arts Management is hosting a new programme for 2002 - Symphonic 70s with fireworks at the castle, on Sunday August 25.
The Performing Arts Symphony Orchestra (PASO) is joining forces with four of Britain's finest singers - the fantastic 'Capital Voices' - to re-create some of the greatest music of the 70s in a feast of pure nostalgia.
With a programme specially arranged by conductor and artistic director, Roderick Dunk, best known for his work with the BBC Concert Orchestra, Symphonic 70s promises to be a real party with a fantastic firework finale. In our symphonic tribute to a fabulous musical decade hear the sounds of Abba, Barry Manilow, The Carpenters, Stevie Wonder, Queen, The Three Degrees, The Stylistics, 10cc, Saturday Night Fever and much, much more!
From 7.30pm until 10pm, memories will come flooding back as the PASO and Capital Voices show you just how orchestral the sounds of the 70s were.
With credits ranging from television, radio and films to musical theatre, concerts and recordings, Capital Voices are sure to captivate you!
Anne Skates, Emma Kershaw, Dean Collinson and Michael Henry have earned a reputation for excellence in every area and are now thrilled to be performing in some of the most stunning settings in Britain.
All our performances this year will be complimented by some exciting new attractions, ensuring not only a fabulous concert but a total event to remember.
From the moment the gates open at 6pm, the audience will be entertained by street performers and will have the chance to visit the concert shop and take a look at the new Citron C3.
Once the concert itself begins, the PASO will transport you back to a time of groovy tunes and glitter balls inspiring the audience to sing (and dance!) throughout a wonderful evening that finishes with a kaleidoscope of colourful fireworks expertly choreographed to the music.
So, prepare your picnics, dust off the garden tables and chairs and dance on down to Eastnor Castle where we will once again prove to you that the best outdoor concert is a Performing Arts concert!
