Eve Bowler read a report on the jubilee party where there had been a display of clothes and artefacts relating to the past 50 years.
Muriel Owen organised Members Night on July 1, when Joan Loftus gave a talk on her career in nursing.
She joined Kidderminster Hospital in 1946 as a trainee and retired in the early 1960s as a sister at The Croft Nursing Home. She said she had enjoyed her varied career in a job she loved.
Monologues were read by Mrs Owen and Mrs Loftus.
On July 3, Pat Farr hosted a garden coffee morning, which raised £143 for Acorns Children's Hospice, when members looked around the kitchen garden, greenhouse, alpines, rockeries, pond, bog garden and also many hanging baskets.
There were many unusual plants and a "bring and buy" plant stall.
The next meeting, on August 5 will comprise a visit to Severn Trent Water at Trimpley Reservoir.
