Evesham and District Disabled AC and Partnerships
THE club met last Thursday at Forest Farm, Pinvin for round four of the Summer Evening League.
With the rain holding off until the final hour, fish were caught at irregular intervals, then came the rain and the fish started feeding.
Young Sam Thomson led the pack with three carp, all 7lb plus added to his silver fish finished with a net of 29.3.0, to win the match.
Frank Lake romped home in second place with 16.15.0 and Ray Woods finished strongly to end up with 15.13.0 in third place.

A superb summer's day greeted members on Sunday when they fished their Summer League match at Oakham Farm, Loxley.
Once again Lake came out on top with 17.14.0. Close behind in second place was Wayne Panting who netted a fine 16.9.0 and this week bringing up third was Roy Thomson with 14.11.0.

Fourteen members fished the third round of the Summer Evening League at Ellis's Lake.
Romping home in first place was Frank Lake with a net of 13.5.0, second was Wayne Panting with 9.5.0, and in third place was Clive Leeming with 5.2.0.
Nine members travelled to Lighthorne Heath for their weekly league series.
Fishing at first in overcast conditions the fish soon began coming to the nets.
Roy Thomson was the winner, bagging 6.4.0, just four ounces ahead of Bill Scarrott with Nigel Howe (5.4.0) in third.
Evesham WMC
MOST of the 22 members who fished Hillview Fishery had a enjoyable day's fishing.
Winner with 47.11.0 of carp was John Drew ahead of Shawn Barber with 34.4.0 again of carp. Martin Woods (33.4.0) came third.
The next match is at Rissington Road with the draw at 7am.
Evesham Jubilee Society
THERE was a close finish when members fished the parks section of the Worcester Canal but it was Graham Mytton who emerged in top spot, narrowly edging out Tony Brooks.
Sunday's match is a Stillwater Series match at Hill View Fisheries with the draw at 7am.
The Evesham Association's Knockout Cup saw Ian Newman land top weight of 7.8.0 to win a competitive but friendly contest.

Twyford Pool
THE best carp of the week was a common carp weighing 20lbs 8ozs with the best baits cat food and fish meal boilies.
Bream are also showing up well with lots of perch and roach feeding. Weekend winners recorded weights of 47.12.
