VICTORIA and Blakeley Hall finished 24 runs short at Barnards Green in Worcestershire Saturday League Division Three but claimed a losing draw.
The home side batted first against a hostile attack led by David Bannister (3-59).
With Green at 19-3, depleted Victoria suffered through a lack of bowling options and T Clarke went on to score 122.
Kevin Amos bowled 21 overs for 2-63.
In reply, Victoria were at 95-5 before Amos and Glyn Thomas (59) produced a stand of 113.
But Thomas pulled a wide ball onto his stumps and his dismissal slowed down the scoring rate.
All-rounder Amos finished on 60 not out when the innings closed.
Barnards Green 254-6, Victoria 230-7.
Victoria seconds were beaten heavily by their Barnards Green counterparts.
