FRENCH students have been dining on a diet of Worcester life this month, thanks to a twinning scheme.
Jean-Baptiste Canevet and Celine Grinenwald, from Worcester's twin town of Le Vesinet in France, have been working in the Faithful City.
Although Miss Grinenwald has returned home, Mr Canevet still has one week to go before jetting back to France.
Miss Grinenwald worked in the Lemon Tree restaurant in Friar Street for a week before moving to the Tourist Information Centre, by the Guildhall.
Mr Canevet has been working at Chesters Cafe Restaurant in New Street.
"It's my first time in England," said Mr Canevet.
"I like Worcester very much and have met a few people here. I may come here again."
The trip was made possible by Worcester Twinning Association, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary of exchange visits this year.
"We've been doing work experience exchanges for the last three years, but have been doing exchange trips for the last 10 years," said Robert Loveless, youth exchange co-ordinator for the association.
"We give them experience of working and experience of language and help them improve themselves."
