A SUCCESSFUL summer fayre took place on Saturday, June 29 at Eldersfield Lawn School on a fine and sunny afternoon. The school entrance and grounds were brightly decorated with red, white and blue bunting which gave a lovely setting for the stalls, games and events. One of the main attractions was a dog agility display and together with country dancing and children's sports ensured that there was plenty to keep everyone entertained. There were all the usual stalls and games for all ages. The main raffle prize winners were Ann Rogers (£50 M&S gift voucher), F Tolley (meat voucher) and James Powell-Chandler (theatre tickets) with several other prize winners. The total sum of £1,631 was raised which will be divided between Eldersfield Church and Eldersfield Lawn School.
