FORMER members of Upton Youth Band are getting together for a concert to mark the outfit's 21st anniversary.
The reunion band will play alongside current member as part of celebrations taking place on Upton Sports Field on Sunday (July 21).
The present band, which won the trophy for best turnout and best musical effect in finishing third overall at a competition in Midsomer Norton last Sunday (July 14), will parade through the town at 11.30am.
As well as the two bands, there will be a car boot sale, ferret racing, Velcro olympics, stalls, a licensed bar, fire engine rides, penalty shoot-outs, bouncy castle, classic car and military displays, pig roast and barbecue.
The event will run from noon to 6pm.
"It's going to be a great family day out," said spokesperson Nicki Taha. "We would love everybody to come and join us, and help us celebrate."
