A performance by blues band Steve McQueen and the Bullitts is to be used to raise the profile Upton Sports Club as a venue for parties and social events.
Club chairman Nick Allen hopes the gig tomorrow (Saturday), which is part of the town's blues festival, will attract more bookings.
"I don't think people realise what a wonderful facility they've got in Upton because on the outside it looks a bit drab," he said. "It's got fantastic car parking and has been recently refurbished, with lots of facilities and a good bar.
"It's available for anything, wedding receptions, parties and even funeral wakes. We're open to suggestions."
Mr Allen said that money raised from bookings would be ploughed back into the club, with a new changing room one of the targets. More information, viewings and bookings are available from Jenny Parkes on 07702 742655.
n Upton Blues Festival begins tonight (Friday) and continues throughout the weekend at pubs and clubs in the town.
