MP Sir Michael Spicer and Upton town councillor Roger Barker are to meet a Government minister to discuss raising the A4107 to prevent it becoming impassable in times of flood.
The pair will meet Transport Minister David Jamieson on October 24 to lobby for funding.
A deputation from the town went to see Environment Minister Elliot Morley in March but were told the problem was a highways matter rather than an environmental one.
At a meeting of the town council on Tuesday (July 16), it was agreed Coun Barker, mayor at the time of the last deputation, should represent the town again.
