AS, not for the first time, one of the Malvern Hills District Council's refuse wagons has managed to remove a piece of wall from the corner of Broads Bank and Portland Road (on the right looking up Broads Bank) it is high time that the real reason for vehicles needing to reverse up Broads Bank (which is a one-way street in the opposite direction) be pointed out, viz, the virtually omnipresently parked vehicles at the top of the bank. As these are parked on a yellow line they are both committing a traffic offence and obstructing all those vehicles legitimately travelling down the bank, to the Malvern Gazette office or beyond.
As, presumably, it is the responsibility of the police and/or traffic wardens to deal with this problem, could we have some action please?
IAN BERESFORD GLEAVES, Broads Bank, Malvern.
