I REFER to the letter from Brian Hunt (You Say, July 10) and note his comments regarding his party's apparent warnings of lack of parking places within the new hospital during the early planning stages.
In more recent times, he would be aware also that one or two members of his party may not have helped by causing delays in planning approvals for additional parking, which would have alleviated some of the current problems.
Whatever the case, I am not particularly interested in what has happened in the past.
As a new councillor, I am only interested in resolving the parking problem that can only become worse in the next few months.
I intend to work with all members from all parties to put together a solution that will not only help the Ronkswood Action Group but also the residents in all areas that are experiencing great inconvenience.
Those residents are not interested in those who continually harp back to the past, trying to gain political points.
They expect nothing else of us but to resolve the parking problem.
JOHN W BUCKLEY,
