AN invitation is extended to all bridge players to enter the 13th Worcester Charity Knockout Rubber Bridge Competition.
This is open to all players of any standard who live in Worcestershire, South Shropshire, Dudley, Stourbridge, Halesowen, Warley and near-neighbours in adjoining counties. Beginners and lapsed bridge players are especially welcome. There is no entry fee but a contribution to a charity is asked.
This friendly competition will be administered by the Worcestershire Contract Bridge Association and is open to everybody who wishes to enter. It will run from September 2002 through to May 2003.
The winners will receive a trophy presented at the Holt Fleet Hotel, Ombersley on Monday, May 20, 2003 at 7pm.
Forms will be available in some public libraries and golf and tennis clubs or from John Cattanach, 28 Droitwich Road, Worcester, WR3 7LH. Tel: (01905) 25265.
Closing date for entries is Friday, August 30.
