UPTON Primary School won the Malvern and District Schools Rounders Tournament played at Somers Park Primary School, Malvern.
Eleven schools took part with the teams playing in two groups with the top two going through to the semi-finals.
Although Upton finished runners-up in their group they went on to win their semi-final to meet Great Malvern Primary in the final.
Great Malvern had defeated the Upton side in the semi-final last year and had won the trophy for the previous three years.
In a tense final Upton kept their nerve and finally came through six and a half rounders to five and a half to win the trophy.
Upton head teacher Mark Mumby said: "The team played extremely well and their sportsmanship and behaviour was praised by the officials.
"The win was well deserved, it is a team to be proud of."
