LORD Faulkner of Worcester certainly has a lot to think about before he stands up to speak in the House of Lords.
Apparently, there has been an "increasing failure by members to observe the conventions when referring to other members of the House in debate".
Now Lords have been reminded to address their colleagues with their full titles.
And a list of exactly what they should say has been published to help them select the proper title.
Church of England Archbishops, for example, must be addressed "the most reverend Primate" while bishops should be called "the right reverend Prelate".
Probably the best goes to Lords with the rank of admiral of the fleet, field marshal or marshal of the Royal Air Force, or holders of theVictoria or George Cross.
They must be addressed as "noble and gallant" at all times.
