BROMSGROVE Rovers' pre-season campaign continued with a 6-1 defeat to West Bromwich Albion at the Victoria Ground on Saturday.

Albion struck three times in five minutes en route to five first half goals as the Premiership newboys produced a powerful display at the Victoria Ground.

Scott Dobie headed home two Matt Turner crosses on 19 and 22 minutes before Jason Roberts made it three two minutes later.

Roberts tapped home the fourth on 32 minutes and made the fifth for Turner two minutes from the break.

Rovers added a goal of their own on 69 minutes through a Richard Burgess header and Dobie completed his hat-trick ten minutes from time.

Stourport Swifts won 3-1 at Halesowen Harriers with goals from Jan Mulders, and strikes from trialists Jamie Stainer and Stewart Dobson.
