"ALL change at the Lychgate" we read, "plans include a 356 space car park"!

Am I reading that correctly? I thought there was a firm policy of keeping cars out of the city.

Were all the hundreds of man hours spent discussing park and ride and cars in the city centre an utter and absolute waste of time?

What is the city to get in exchange for a large store selling a large variety of goods?

Six more fashion shops to add to those ones already there!

Come on Worcester - does this make sense?

Will this really attract people to the city? Surely variety is the spice of life and it is variety and choice that people want and look for.

There is more to most people's shopping than fashion, fashion and more fashion.

I trust that the building will not be a cheap and nasty modern soulless glass and metal tube building that will detract from the area.

More than enough damage was done in the '60s - don't make the same mistake again.

I hope at least the Lychgate will cease to be a very cold and most effective wind tunnel.
