A POLICE patrol caught a Worcester man who was driving while disqualified.
Jason Knight was stopped by the motorcycle patrol at 3.15pm on Thursday, June 6, on Rainbow Hill, Worcester Magistrates Court heard yesterday.
Mike Cowley, prosecuting, said Knight immediately told police he was disqualified.
He added the 30-year-old had previous convictions for driving while disqualified, and had previously been banned from the road for five years.
Knight, of Barbourne Road, admitted driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
Andrew Childs, defending, said Knight was very worried about going to prison and had told his employers he was disqualified from driving.
Magistrates ordered him to complete a 240-hour community punishment order for driving while disqualified, and gave him a £400 fine and eight points on his licence for driving without insurance.
He was also ordered to pay £55 court costs.
