THE region's water provider is advising shareholders of its forthcoming general meeting.
Severn Trent Plc's general meeting for shareholders is due to be held at the Royal Centre, in Nottingham, this Friday, July 26, at 2.30pm.
This is the first time the group has held its annual meeting outside Birmingham.
"By moving this year's meeting to Nottingham, we hope to encourage many of our shareholders based in the East Midlands, as well as the West Midlands, to attend," said Peter Gavan, director of corporate affairs at Severn Trent Plc.
Severn Trent Plc is an environmental services group headquartered in Birmingham.
It is a leading provider of water, waste and utility services to businesses and householders.
Its key operating subsidiaries are Severn Trent Water, Biffa and Severn Trent Services.
The group generates revenues of £1.8bn and employs more than 14,000 people across the UK, USA and Europe.
