ST Bede's Middle School ended term on a high note as there were awards aplenty for pupils who were commended for their hard work, dedication and care they showed for others.
Scooping top commendations were Henna Khattak and Ben White, who were given the upper and lower school shields.
The awards are given to outstanding pupils who most reflect the caring and Christian ethos of the school.
The youngsters were voted for by staff and fellow pupils.
Meanwhile, five other pupils proved they have heads for figures by winning prestigious national maths awards.
The five were gold winners in the UK Junior Mathematical Challenge, which only the top 20 per cent of pupils in the country enter.
They were Laura Sutton, Abigaiyle McCullough, Alex Ward, Michael Palmer and Alex Taylor.
