FORMER England pace bowler Martin McCague has signed to play for Herefordshire.
McCague, who played three Tests and is still on Kent's books, has been recruited on a short-term basis to bolster their attack.
He is currently in his benefit season at Kent but has played little cricket in the past three seasons.
The 33-year-old, born in Northern Ireland but raised in Australia, will make his Herefordshire debut in their Minor Counties Championship Western Division clash with Berkshire at Finchampstead, starting on Sunday.
