A CLASSICAL guitarist who has won a clutch of awards is performing in Birmingham on Sunday.
Brian Perkins's accolades include the Memorial Trophy at Cheltenham in 1981 and a Recital Diploma from Birmingham Conservatoire in 1983.
His recordings include collaborations with British composer Peter Nuttall on an album of his most well-known works to date, Musica del Mundo, a compilation of guitar music from all over the world and an album with CBSO flautist Margaret Campbell.
The Brian Perkins Concert is being staged at The Hexagon from 7.30pm and tickets cost £9.50 or £7.50 from the box office on 0121 440 3838.
