DEAR EDITOR - Was it a bird? Was it a plane? No - it was the councils roadsweeper!
Oh joy - after months seeing the leaves and rubbish accumulate in our road, similar to many others in and around Bromsgrove, at long last it was all swept away.
Rushing out to witness the event, all I could see was the tail-end of the vehicle disappearing from my view. It had missed our part of the road completely.
As a regular council taxpayer, who I might add, suffers the dreaded Monday refuse collection, recent comments made by our council about improving services leaves me somewhat bewildered.
