THERE were some beastly goings-on at one Bromsgrove first school when town youngsters put on their rendition of Mini Beast Madness last week.
Around 70 youngsters, aged six and seven, from Charford First School, in Charford Road, performed the play in front of a host of family and friends last Wednesday and Thursday.
The play, which was inspired by a recently studied science project and environmental day, was hailed as a great success by parents and teachers.
Class teacher Mel Henderson said: "The children had a wonderful time performing.
"And, one parent remarked, it was the best play she had ever seen."
