DEXTEROUS members of Bromsgrove's Sugarcraft Guild are enjoying the sweet taste of success thanks to their latest exhibition.
For six months the branch's 28 members have been working into the early hours to create a delicate and colourful jubilee display, which is on show at Bromsgrove Library
It features part of the Queen's coronation procession and includes figures, the gold coach, horses and the gates and railings in front of Buckingham Place, all crafted in sugar and bonded with a special gum.
Guild spokeswoman Brenda Trow said only the palace backdrop, which has been painted by a member's daughter, is not made of sugar.
Three sides of the exhibition are bordered by intricate red white and blue flowers
"We have had a fantastic response from the public. Many have told us how wonderful they think it is," said Brenda, who lives in Ednall Lane.
The exhibition is on show at the library in Stratford Road until Saturday.
Guild meetings are held at the Baptist Church Hall in New Road on the third Tuesday of each month.
New members are always welcome.
