A GROUP of environmentally minded youngsters are not the only ones thrilled with their new school garden - baby rabbits have also been seen using it.
Members of the eco-committee at Bromsgrove's Aston Fields Middle School have created a jubilee garden, which is also proving popular with their furry friends. The children took part in the project as part of the green flag scheme, which is awarded to schools which show environmental flair.
Pupils and some of their parents teamed up with Guy Redmond, of the Bishop's Wood Environmental Centre, to create the garden, which boasts tree stumps, a pergola and lots of plants.
"They are absolutely thrilled with the results of their hard work," said Karen McNamara, the school's environmental coordinator.
"They use the garden each lunch time and some baby rabbits have also been seen using it."
