WYTHALL are set for their biggest game for three years on Saturday after making the Warwickshire Four West title battle a two horse race.

Second placed Wythall comprehensively beat third placed Haunchwood to open up a massive 63 point gap on Saturday's opponents.

Martin Priest's side were put in to bat, enabling them to pocket 24 points while leaders Arden Forest returned the same tally to keep their 19 point advantage intact with the top two set to lock horns at Arden Forest on Saturday (2pm start).

The Silver Street side know they can go top with a win but their hosts would be happy with a draw to keep their rivals at bay.

The villagers go into the crucial fixture from a position of strength with two high-profile additions.

Former Solihull Municipal opening bat Steve Earls is hoping to make his debut after his former side folded and Moseley old boy Jay Webster is hoping to make himself available. Webster has been appearing for Wythall's Sunday side but is hoping to avoid work commitments which limit his Saturday availability.

And Dave Perks is set to be available after missing the weekend win. Wythall posted 222 with Omar Ali (48) and Matt Elwell (45) top scoring.

After seeing their opponents reach 60 without loss, Priest took over with a five wicket haul as Haunchwood's title dream was left in tatters by a 105 total.
