FIVE Ways stayed within reach of Warwickshire Four West leaders Bridge Trust after the tightest of draws at the weekend.
The potential title decider ensured a nailbiting match and the visitors earned a draw by emulating Trust's 172 total on the last ball.
With Old Eds losing ten wickets to their opponents' seven, they pocketed 13 points allowing Bridge Trust to extend their lead on them by one point to 12.
But it was the rest of the chasing pack who profited while the top two cut each other's throats.
Weoley Hill beat Lyndworth and Handsworth turned over Prince of Wales to push Chris Jones' side into fourth.
With just a dozen points separating the top four, the title is wide open and Five Ways have another pressure fixture at home to third placed Weoley Hill on Saturday (2pm start).
