A £2.6 million project to build the first eco-friendly, solar-powered homes in Redditch has been announced.
Proposals to build 30 homes on land off Grangers Lane in Oakenshaw have been drawn up by Redditch Co-operative Homes and are due to be discussed by councillors next month.
If the houses are given the go ahead work on the development will start this October and take 12 months to complete.
