RESIDENTS of an Oakenshaw close have formed an action group to try to stop the eco-friendly development going ahead behind their homes.
Towbury Close residents are outraged at plans to build the 30 homes, claiming scores of trees and vegetation will be destroyed.
They fear a bridleway will disappear and wildlife will be affected andhave now drafted in the Council for the Protection of Rural England to help with their campaign.
