THE end of term saw children at Ridgeway Middle School bid farewell to their two much-loved cooks.
Mary Quiney has been serving up dinners at the school for 36 years and her daughter, Jackie Taylor, has also worked there for the last 11 years.
But both are moving on to pastures new as they leave to run a family hotel in Cumbria.
