MORE than 150 golfers helped raise nearly £3,000 for charity at Droitwich Spa Rotary Club's charity golf day.
The annual event, held on Wednesday, July 3, was attended by golfers from around the country, including Stoke-on-Trent, Devon and Somerset, and raised £2,800 for TOMMY'S, a charity which researches infertility and child birth problems.
The golfers competed for £700 worth of prizes and the men's trophy was won by Alan Goldie and Nick White.
Droitwich ladies' club captain, Val Evans, and Linda McKeown won the ladies' competition.
