A SOUTHCREST student is to spend a year working for the world's oldest nature conservation organisation in Vietnam.
Christopher Stroud, 19, of Greenfields, is a volunteer on the Youth for Development programme, run through international development charity Voluntary Service Overseas.
He will be working in Hanoi as a programme officer for Fauna and Flora International from mid-August.
He is one of 60 UK university and college students aged 19-25 going to developing countries.
Christopher will be taking pictures and news stories relating to life in Redditch and the UK with him.
