THE Where Next Association has bought a new van after two years' fund-raising.
More than £9,000 was raised by volunteer Pat Nash and her team after a host of fund-raising events from sponsored walks and concerts to an abseil down the town hall.
The Ford Transit van will help the Shades of Green department of the charity operate an extra team of workers to provide work experience for people with learning difficulties and also work in grounds maintenance and landscaping.
Brooklyn Ford provided the van and also arranged for the signwriting on the side of the vehicle to be applied.
