COLLECTIONS held last month in the town helped raise money for Redditch and Bromsgrove Sea Cadets and a variety of charities.
The Alexandra Rose Day collections raised £2,131 for the Cadets and more than £500 for the Alexandra Rose charity which benefits other charitable organisations.
Cadet chairman Howard Ralley expressed his gratitude to everybody who contributed and thanked the staff, committee and Cadets who gave up their time.
