AT the July meeting, a report was given on the visit to the Swan Theatre to see the Worcester Federation's musical Fifty Golden Years.
Everyone was impressed by the professionalism of the production and cast.
Bob Burton gave a talk about his hobby of collecting bottles, which started as a result of his gardening activities. Today, Bob is "digging" in many local areas searching for old bottles and pots. One of his main pleasures is researching the history of his finds.
By popular demand, an alfresco evening will once again take place. The committee has decided on a menu and members will be helping with various dishes for the evening on August 3 with family and friends.
The next meeting will be at the village hall on Thursday, September 5. New members welcome.
