SUSPENSION rules Sam Bowen out of Bromsgrove Rovers' home clash with Oadby Town tomorrow (3pm) as they bid to keep in touch with Midland Alliance leaders Stourbridge.

Joint manager Gary Hackett still believes Rovers are in with a fighting chance but admits the Glassboys are in pole position.

"If you were a betting man you would have to say Stourbridge are best placed but as we know favourites don't always win," he said.

Bowen hit the winner at Quorn last week but his place will go to Marvin Blake and Hackett has no qualms about his qualities.

"Marvin was on the bench last week but will come back into the equation and he, Sam and Les Palmer have all got good goalscoring records so it is not a problem."

Paul Lloyd and Steve Taylor are carrying knocks but Hackett was hopeful they would be fit to face Oadby.

"They are a useful outfit and a good passing team and we certainly have to be at our best to beat them," he said.
