HOTSHOT striker Sam Bowen is being kept out of the Bromsgrove Rovers team by in-form Les Palmer and Marvin Blake.

Both were on target in Rovers' 4-0 midweek victory at Stafford Town and Palmer has six goals from his last five games.

Despite picking up knocks both should be fit for the home Midland Alliance clash with Oldbury United tomorrow (3pm).

Mark Clifton, who came back from a lengthy lay-off at Stafford, is set to be joined by new signing Neil Cartwright and Kevin Banner who was out with 'flu.

Joint manager Gary Hackett said it was vital Rovers pick up all three points to maintain their title push.

"We are playing catch up and there is a tremendous amount of pressure on us to win every game," he said.

"We had a good win against Stafford and took our chances well and we are confident we can win tomorrow."
